About Qurbani
Qurbani is an important act of worship carried out during Eid Al-Adha, following the tradition of Prophet Ibrāhīm, peace be upon him.
At Just Chicken & Just Meat, we understand that Qurbani is not simply an order for meat. It is a sacrifice that should be arranged with care, sincerity and attention to the correct Islamic requirements.
Sheep & Lamb Options
We offer both Qurbani Lamb and Qurbani Sheep options. The lamb option refers to a younger sheep option, with the stated weight before trimming, cutting and final preparation.
Our Qurbani sheep and lamb are selected for Ud’hiyah in accordance with the Qur’an and authentic Sunnah, with care taken that each animal is suitable for the sacrifice of Eid Al-Adhā.
HMC Approved Suppliers
All Qurbani animals are supplied through HMC approved suppliers, giving customers added reassurance that the process is handled with proper halal practice and supervision.
From sourcing to slaughter, care is taken to ensure your Qurbani is completed responsibly and with respect for the importance of the occasion.
Correct Zabihah Method
All Qurbanis will be slaughtered according to the correct Zabihah method.
The slaughter will be carried out by trained Muslim slaughtermen, with the name of Allah mentioned at the time of slaughter and each Qurbani clearly allocated to the named person on whose behalf it is being offered.
Slaughter, Delivery and Collection
All Qurbanis will be slaughtered on the first day of Eid, after the Eid prayer, within the correct time for Qurbani.
Delivery and collection will be available over the three days of Eid. When placing your order, you may select your preferred delivery or collection date.
Butchery and Meat Preparation
Your Qurbani will be prepared by Just Chicken & Just Meat according to the butchery options available when placing your order.
Please note that stated weights are approximate and refer to the animal before trimming, cutting and final preparation. During preparation, the meat will be trimmed where reasonably possible, although some natural fat should still be expected. Due to the high volume of Eid orders, custom cutting instructions outside the listed options cannot be offered.
